In the "Radio Days," Jimmy Stewart did a series for the National Broadcasting Corporation (NBC) Radio Network called The Six Shooter ...and its pretty good, if you're one to like radio.
I like old radio because the script, the actors and the foleys were able to create images in my mind that are often far more vivid than the images I see on television today or the fading art of movies at the movie theater with popcorn and a Coke (although its not the same Coke I drank as a kid at the Saturday afternoon matinee).
Anyway this isn't a forum for nostalgia, at least not right now.
Here's Jimmy Stewart in an episode as the Six Shooter.
Take 30 minutes, when you have the time, and listen to a part of American entertainment history (and the advertisements) that's half a century old. If you're a Baby-Boomer, you may remember...that's if you listened to old radio!
