Wind Energy's Impact on Land Value: an interview with Karl Armstead

(Originally produced for Texas Rural Land News & Review which merged with The Texana Review in March 2008)

KArmstead300 Karl Armstead grew up in Arizona but after a stint in Agricultural Operations at the First National Bank of Midland, he began brokering and appraising rural property in west Texas in 1989. 

From the Fort Stockton area, he’s in the thick of wind energy development in west Texas. He holds the ARA designation awarded by American Society of Farm Managers and Rural Appraisers.
