Excerpts from the Prologue: "One Ranger" by Joaquin Jackson & David Wilkinson
Can't help myself. This is such a superbly written account of one man's experience as a Texas Ranger, it would be a shame not to put some voice to it.
So I have, a little bit.
Hope you like it. There's more if you do.

Well, thanks from me too for using my music in your programme. It's always a thrill to know someone has discovered it and put it to good use. As an Irishman I'd never have expected it to be used on a programme about Texas Rangers!! Keep up the good work and thanks again for including "Arthur" in your programme.

No, the thanks go to you for creating such a wonderful piece of music. I drive friends and family crazy by constantly saying "Listen to the music," whether it be TV, movie or radio, and to some extent podcasting, though I don't think many are doing what I'm doing. Although I appreciate the kind words re: my narrative voice, whatever talent I have is immeasurably enhanced by those of you who have the genius of music. So, again, the thanks go to you. Hope you'll drop by The Texana Review ocassionally and maybe tell some of your yankee friends about it. Best wishes...
